Dry point etching. Original numbered signed and embossed edition of 25. Handprinted on a Gunning press on 300gsm Snowdon paper. Finished with applied leaf on The body of the dragonfly.

Each of my drypoint etchings is printed by hand from an original engraved plate.
Because the plate is inked and printed individually for every impression, slight variations in tone, ink, and plate pressure naturally occur. In drypoint printmaking the delicate burr of the engraved line also gradually softens as the edition is printed, meaning each print has its own subtle character.
For this reason every etching in the edition is an individual work, while still belonging to the same limited edition.
Packed on acid free backing in sturdy cardboard
envelope.
